The challenge
The existing bathroom had a small shower, a builder-grade tub no one used, and a vanity wall that wasted three feet of depth. The clients wanted a hotel-grade retreat without expanding the footprint.
Our approach
We reorganized the layout into a curbless wet room shared by the shower and freestanding tub, floated a double vanity in rift-cut walnut with integrated lighting, and ran honed limestone wall-to-wall to make the space feel one piece. Brushed brass fixtures and a steam shower upgrade finished it.
The outcome
The same square footage now feels twice the size, the shower is the everyday star, and the tub gets used weekly. The clients report it's the room they look forward to most.
